This quest is currently available on the Public Test Server (PTS) and is expected to go live in March 2025. One of the initial steps in this quest involves locating and listening to a distress signal. Here's a guide on how to find and interact with this signal.

Unlocking the Quest

To access the "Leap of Faith" quest, you must reach Level 50. Once you've achieved this level, the quest will automatically be added to your Side Quests log.

In the course of completing the "Leap of Faith" quest and exploring the world of Fallout 76, players will also encounter various Fallout 76 items that are crucial for survival and progress. These items include essential supplies like food, water, and medicine, as well as equipment and tools necessary for crafting and combat. Managing these resources effectively will play a significant role in ensuring success throughout the questlines and other adventures in the game.

Finding the Distress Signal

  1. Open the Pip-Boy Menu: On PC, press the Tab button to open the Pip-Boy menu. On consoles, use the respective buttons.

  2. Navigate to the Radio Section: Within the Pip-Boy menu, select the Radio section.

  3. Select the Distress Signal: Look for the ‘Distress Signal’ option and select it. Wait for the signal to complete its transmission to progress to the next objective.

Next Steps After Listening to the Distress Signal

After hearing the distress signal, your next objective is to find the wounded scavenger who transmitted the signal. This scavenger can be located at the Whitespring Resort. Teleport to the Whitespring Refuge and head to the Expedition Room, where you'll find the Infirmary. Inside, you'll encounter the wounded scavenger and a Responder Medic.
