  4. Select TCP and enter the following port numbers based on your QuickBooks version:

    • QuickBooks Desktop 2023: 8019, 56727, 55373-55377
  5. Click Next Allow the connection Next.
  6. Name the rule as QuickBooks Inbound Rule and click Finish.
  7. Repeat these steps for Outbound Rules as well.

3. Restart QuickBooks Database Server Manager

  1. Open Run (Windows + R) and type services.msc.
  2. Find QuickBooksDBXX (XX represents your QuickBooks version).
  3. Right-click and select Restart.

4. Update QuickBooks and Windows

Ensure you have the latest updates installed for both QuickBooks Desktop and Windows to prevent compatibility issues.
