Aerial drones are the new mode in which project sites are monitored and managed. High definition cameras with sensors are now installed on such drones, allowing inspectors to collect a detailed photo image and data from very harsh and difficult-to-access places. Structural assessments can be performed, alongside progressing photographs, and safety issues can be determined without climbing or scaffold access: often, the collected data is AI- and machine-learning processed to create action-based output for the stakeholder, enabling them to act more quickly and intelligently, ultimately giving better project results at lower costs and greater safety at construction locations.
