Graphics Settings for Path of Exile 2 Currency Optimization
POE 2’s complex environments and effects can be taxing on your system. Here’s how to tweak your settings for better performance without sacrificing too much visual quality:

Resolution: If you're experiencing lag or stuttering, lowering your resolution can have a huge impact on performance. Aim for 1080p if you have a mid-tier PC or 1440p/4K if you have a high-end setup.

Graphics Quality: Start by setting your graphics quality to High or Ultra, but if your system is struggling, consider lowering this to Medium. If you're running into performance issues during busy combat scenes, consider lowering the Effects Quality and Texture Quality.

V-Sync: Turn off V-Sync to reduce input delay and improve responsiveness, particularly in fast-paced combat. However, if you're experiencing screen tearing, enable it. You can also use Adaptive Sync or G-Sync if your monitor supports it.

Anti-Aliasing: Anti-aliasing can smooth out jagged edges in the game, but it can also be taxing on performance. Set it to TAA (Temporal Anti-Aliasing) for a balance between quality and performance. Lowering this option to FXAA or turning it off can improve frame rates.

Shadow Quality: Shadows are one of the more performance-heavy settings in POE 2. Reduce the Shadow Quality to Medium or Low to see an immediate boost in performance.

Post-Processing Effects: These effects add polish to the game, but they can eat up system resources. Disable or reduce the Bloom, Depth of Field, Motion Blur, and Ambient Occlusion settings to improve performance.

Particles and Effects: Combat in POE 2 can create a storm of visual effects. If you find that high particle density is causing lag, consider reducing the Particle Effects and Skill Effect Density. Reducing explosions and visual effects from spells and abilities will help improve frame rate during chaotic combat.

Frame Rate Cap: Set the Frame Rate Cap to match your monitor’s refresh rate. For most players, 60 FPS or 120 FPS is sufficient. If your system can handle more, you can increase the cap to 144 FPS or higher, but remember that going too high may result in unnecessary strain on your GPU.

Ambient Occlusion SSAO: While these settings improve lighting realism, they are also resource-intensive. Set them to Medium or Off for POE 2 Orbs a performance boost.
