Our Story
About ITSO Coffee
At ITSO Coffee, we’re proud to offer premium Fairtrade Kenyan coffee, ethically sourced from the lush highlands of Kenya and roasted locally in Ontario. As a women-owned coffee brand and proud member of the Kipkelion Women in Coffee Cooperative, we source directly from women farmers who are transforming their communities through sustainable practices and leadership. Founded by Caroline Ndiangui, who grew up on a Kenyan coffee farm, ITSO Coffee was created to bridge the gap between farmers and consumers through fair trade, transparency, and empowerment. Each bag of ITSO Coffee is 100% traceable, connecting you to the women who grow your beans — because every cup tells a story of resilience and purpose. Drink consciously. Support women in coffee. Choose ITSO Coffee.
Who We Are ?
Our ambition in the coffee business
Our mission is simple: to ethically source coffee directly from Kenya’s small-scale farmers, empowering local communities while delivering exceptional quality to our customers. We’re committed to ethical sourcing, ensuring farmers are paid fairly and that their communities thrive.
Our Sourcing
Where we source our coffee from?
We prioritize sourcing from women farmers, recognizing their vital contribution to the coffee industry. Our beans come from the Kenyan highlands, where fertile red soil and ideal climate produce coffee with rich, distinctive notes of citrus, blackcurrant, and a winey finish. At ITSO Coffee, empowering women is more than a mission — it’s our passion.
